  • Help, I think I'm going mad :o

Last night I actually dreamed about Boots

My dream was a mish mash of things and all I can remember is dragging my poor mum round to get bargains (she's 86 and currently in plaster from ankle to thigh with a fractured thigh so this would be somewhat difficult), making her fill out an AC application form for a card she would never use (but I would :D ) and then the next minute I was running round pulling all the Out of Order labels off the AC machine :o I think it was a combination of some of the stuff I was reading on here yesterday :o

As I'm fairly new to this Boots lark I really think reading this thread has fuddled my brain - BUT WHO CARES COS I LOVE IT :D:D:D:D

My daughters think I've totally lost the plot and have a severe Boots problem. We are off to Scotland for half term in a week or so and youngest daughter said to me last night "we're not going Bootsing while we are away are we?"

problem - what problem. I don't think I have a problem :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Hi,

I've got a new Boots Advantage card (with double points coupon), but the AC machine didn't give me an EI voucher today :(

But...if I can get my sister's card to give an EI 150 points voucher then I should be able to buy 20 bottles of EI handwash @ £1.66 each and BOGOF for a total of £16.60 - this would give me £60 in points which is enough to buy the Babyliss 2085U Pro 230 hair straighteners for me sis's birthday :rotfl: Is that right????

I think you will find that 20 x 150 points is only £30.

Maybe counting double points coupon? One poster did find their points doubled, but others have found that the double points coupon only works for points you would have earned anyway.

Thanks dollywops, but I think somewhere on the thread it mentions that the double points coupon with new cards gives double bonus and 'normal' points. Would be an unbelievable deal if it comes off, but £30 would be good too :D

    thanks malima :D

We're not sure where we are going yet as we're staying with a friend who lives near Gretna. I can't spend the week dragging the kids round Boots or they will go mad. I know we are planning on driving further up north. I want the girls to see Glencoe and Aviemore. it's so lovely up there.

I'm sure I'll manage to sneak in a few "Bootsing" trips somewhere along the way though ;)
