Wanadoo wont do what i wantittodo!

I have just got Wanadoo broadband ( I was dragged screaming into this .....I kind of liked the 2 minute pause between pages loading, it gave me time to think!)
Anyhow, I have to admit i am enjoying the speed thing, BUT i keep gettting logged off. Whereas before I got 2 hrs before being logged off, I now get about 5 minutes if i dont press a keyboard button. Don't they realise that some MSE threads are veryyy long?!
Why does it do this, and can I change it? I know it only takes a millisecond to log on again, but I would rather it didnt log off in the first place.
If this should be a question for the techies, please move.

Wanadoo auto disconnects you even on broadband? Holy Moly, remind me never to sign up to them!

Anyways, this should help you: it automatically pings the ISP, worked for me when I used to be on NTL dialup:

Wanadoo broadband doesn't log you off. I leave my wireless modem (not a Wanadoo product) switched on all day amd it never logs off the network.

It will be your broadband modem. Check the options in the broadband modem to see if there is a relevant setting.
