DPA allows covert monitoring to detect reasonably suspected criminal activity so no need to inform the subjects (in fact it could well be that informing them would defeat the point of the monitoring)

If the boss has a reasonable suspicion of criminal activity by staff then he can covertly film and record, if he’s just nosey then he’s on dodgy ground

A cheap AM radio, when placed near to a transmitting or bugging device, creates a hum similar to the way your mobile phone does placed near a pc or television.

If you start to talk to one another whilst abusing him and his his wife loudly (verbaly) you will soon know if you are bugged cos he wont be happy! :rotfl:
