bt openworld connection problems

    Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker
    seems to be working now. I rewrote all the passwords etc and nothing happened shut down the internet, reconnected and everything started working.

    Thanks so much for your suggestions and help.
    I must remember not to fiddle in future :naughty:

    I've got BT Openworld and experience on occasions the same as yourself.

    It does appear you are connected, as you say, but you cannot access any web sites.

    I have never had the system work again without going through a couple of quick processes the BT Tech Support told me to do. It is pretty much a process of typing in an IP Address in the web address Bar and following a process of saying 'I accept' until the connection is reset.

    I can find the details if you wish for future references.
