Daytime Internet access

Don't see how this can be beaten, was alerted to it from the Silver Saver pages......Tesco Daytime £5.99 p.m dial up 2am to 4pm every day..great if you can work around the hours....also Tiscali Daytime Plus is 8am to 6pm every day £7.99 and just ordinary Daytime 5days a week is £4.99 a month....and the library machines are free use 1 hour a day bar Sundays. Great for ye oldies and peeps about during the day. Scope for moneysaving....convince me someone that 'tis cheaper elswhere!!"!!

    Sorry to puncture your post "so to speak", BUT - https://www.fast4.net give you 24/7 access for £6.99 per month. I've been with them for over 2 years and although there were a few probs. in the early days, now it is a very good service and for the money, CANNOT be beaten !!

  • Excellent information, except that these can only be used if you have a BT line.

    I wanted to get my elderly mother one of these connections, but she is with NTL so not able to register for these accounts.

    Unless anyone can tell me any different. ;)

    Can't help you Headcovers, tho NTL should help....and think I might have missed a trick with Fastnet, theloft, but 14 hours for £5.99 isn't bad, and never do the net in the evenings anyway and need 8hrs sleep and, like...er...eat and other things. Miscalculated tho , things are slower without Tiscali Accelerator, and Google equivalent showed a nil gain.
