Sky+ no subscription fee ?

As said above by Juni, it says on the website only £20 for a viewing card if you already have digital satellite equipment. We recently moved into a new house where they left their sky dish behind, but we actually use freeview. I presume that I could just purchase a sky box from ebay/currys/somewhere else which would be a lot cheaper than the extra £130 it would cost to get the whole package from Sky? Can anyone confirm this and advise me on what sort of box I would need to buy (ie does it have to state it is a Sky digibox or might it just say Phillips/Sony digibox etc). Also, does anyone know whether it is a simple operation to connect the dish to the box or would we have to get an engineer in please?

You just want a Sky Digibox dosent matter on the make, best place is off Ebay will be around £30 ish then just connect the sat cable to the box and away you go, you will get some channels the others will need a freesat card to view

My Mother wants Sky+ but is finding it hard to get it.
She doesn't want installation as we already have a quad LNB - would only need a cable laying.

Is it better to just get a Sky+ box from eBay?
