Thats all you need... it carries video (s-video) along with the audio cable.. straight into a scart socket on your tv..

You can pick these up from.. pcworld / toysrus / currys/ comet.. local pc shops :)

This is how I've got my old laptop connected.

    :edit:

When connecting to a TV using analogue signals - it's only good for watching video / movies... not good for general pc usage on your tv. This is best done via digital (DVI / hdmi)

the op has it connected via VGA - I can only imagine - it will accept the s-video / scart connection.

The s-video /scart was first used by the old type VHS / camcorders... all tv's "back in the day" accepted it... ?
  • i've connect the picture via a 15pin monitor cable through the RGB IN connection on the back of my TV.

it has a audio in connection next to it but not sure whichcable to buy!

Does the audio in connection look anything like the red & white sockets in this picture?

If the audio inputs tie in with the VGA input then yes, that's what you need.

Do you have any audio inputs labelled up as "VGA" or "PC" or something like that? They might not necessarily be next to the VGA input.

Alternatively, what's the make and model of your TV and I'll look it up...
