thanks sooo mcuh for all your replies - I love the binary scarf but am not sure I have the time/ pateince so am going to attempt a mini verision and turn it into an i-pod sock. My 10 year old took the most gorgeous pic of his sister last night so thats going in a frame for their present to him. I'm going to print a t shirt with an iron on transfer and make a special meal and dalek cake. He loves lighting fires so if I can persuade the men at the tip to part with a washing machine drum/ get one on freecyle then thats a great idea too. Sorted!
