My RTV issued by East Coast expired and I contacted them 5 days after and they regretably advised they would not extend. So therefore a main TOC do not allow extension as advised by another person. East Coast is government supported and thats us the tax payer
Anyway, please don't try to blame the train operator.
Wasn't it clear when you had to use the voucher by?0 -
Id love to know what a 'Main TOC' is too."If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0

Seriously... if you have a Rail Travel Voucher make sure it is redeemed before it expires! You can buy tickets up to 1 year in advance (though obviously reservations do not open until around 12 weeks in advance, so that limits you to tickets that do not require reservations) so in theory you could wait nearly 12 months before redeeming a voucher and buying a ticket for nearly 12 months after that, thus travelling just under 2 years after the original journey.0
