Looks like I have a new client I am due to sell goods for on ebay.
To cut to the chase, these goods are all brand new boxed so I will not have to package them as such. But I will need to cover them, but I dread having to use brown parcel paper:
a. because i think it looks awful
b. because my wrapping skills MAKE it look awful
c. because its takes too long !!
what alternatives could i use ?? i will be using jiffy bags etc for anything small enough, but some of these things will be too large.
is there a product i have completely missed that fits the bill ??
thanks in advance
ps. i should point out i really don't think a 2nd box would work, as it would be expensive, require extra packaging, and mean sourcing very specific sizes.

If sending Special Delivery you can get some from the Post Office in varying sizes. Jusy wrap in bubble wrap first.0

would a hoover fit into one ?:grouphug:

if its large like a hoover what about rubble sacks ?
they sell them among the bin bags in supermarkets
they work out as cheap as 20p each. Large stronger
than bin bags should work out quite well as you
only want to cover the box its packed in.
I use the bags for life for clothing items or anything that
does not require padding 10p each.
poundland and 99p shop for smaller jiffy bags 8 or 10
for a £1 depending on size.Or the larger ones from time to
time 5 or 6 for a £1
for small jiffy bags:j:j:j0 -
So I presume it doesn't matter if the original box gets bashed or damaged? If it's the type of thing that someone would give as a gift (eg a game, jigsaw, toy is all I can think of at the mo) then another box would be necessary.0

How about thick plastic bag or even black binliner with a layer of bubble wrap around the box - shouldn't really add to the weight, but ought to protect the origional box from damage.0

rubble sacks ? bin liners ??
really ?!?!:grouphug:

When I was selling Dysons they just went as the original box with a documents envelope stuck on it. Anything else is likely to look worse by the time it arrives.0 -
^^ this is what i was considering, apart from the fact then everyone knows what it is.
what i had hoped was there was some kind of clingfilm style wrap the i could just cover the box in.:grouphug:
