'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0 -
I have only managed one nsd so far this month. BUT, I do have a good excuse!!;)
On Monday ( the one with all the snow!), I had to take my dd to Falmouth, that's approx 270 miles. She had an interview on Tues morning at the uni.
We were meant to be coming home after the interview, but the roads were closed due to snow and ice and being very dangerous. So we had to stay another night, and pay for a meal for us both again. All together what should have cost £150, ended up costing me £240  . I had the £150 saved and was prepared for it, the extra £90 hurt!!
On top of that, I came back ill. Most people bring back a postcard or stick of rock when they go to the coast. Not me, I bring back tonsilitis, an ear infection and a burst eardrum!! So, OH has been looking after the cash, I think he has spent 2 weeks budget so far this week!!!!! I think I need to train him a bit more:rotfl: .
I will try much harder next week.
KFinally dealing with our debts.
May NSD15/15:j June NSD 10/15.
Sealed pot(1)£36. Sealed pot(2)£14.00. Sealed pot(3) £6.50. June GC £214/£350-

Never thought dealing with debt would be FUN!!:j0 -
Another NSD for me today! That's unusual for me in that it was a Saturday, and I normally spend loads!
We did get a new slow cooker, but it was on OH's Nectar points (bless him!), so essentially free!!:T It works really well too - we are stuffed full of yummy beef curry tonight.

I really wish I'd made a word document of all the really helpful things that I've read on here.
Fantastic idea! :T I'm going to start one - only this morning I was wishing I could remember where I saw something useful on MSE
Hope your mum's op went well.
After a glorious six NSDs in a row, thank you snow
