Tuesday 27/1/09 What small dfw things have you done today???

Am already noticing the benefits of OH not being here!! Didn't put the heating on all day until 7pm and even then its only been on 17c, that would never have happened with OH here!!

Feeling a little chuffed as well, picked up a nice little mystery shopping job at a cheap food store that i had wanted to go to but had been too far away to warrant a trip. However now that i am getting paid to go out there and shop i am very happy, plus it means i can snap up lots of bargains!!

Mbaz, good news on the feedback from the Uni, sometimes you need these kinds of things to help focus you on what you need to be doing and what can be beneficial for your career. Good luck on finding an appropriate course, hope you find one you like.

Evening all, watching supersize superskinny making me feel urggh!! Not feeling too good after the night shift as well.
Mbaz...glad you got the feedback, sounds reasonable i guess, i used to work in admissions though and i think its a harsh decision to decline someone. Keep trying!! I think the OU is a fab idea, go for it! Plenty financial support too and would really solve moneysaving and childcare issues.
Has anyone tried the Graze free box from piggy clicks site? Im a bit confused what you get! I dont want to be charged!

I just cancelled my graze after receiving 3 boxes. Its quite cool. Bit annoyed as it wasnt on pigsback when I got but I did get a free one and two half price. they are nice as a wee treat.

managed NSD no 9 yesterday - woo hoo.

- [STRIKE]check online banking[/STRIKE] done - not pretty. first week of new payment distribution.
- [STRIKE]check credit card[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]fill up car with fuel[/STRIKE]
- try have LSD
- [STRIKE]dilute screen wash a bit more for car[/STRIKE]
- meals from storecupboard
- [STRIKE]make carrot and corriander soup with ingredients in house[/STRIKE] bought an extra onion :eek:
- [STRIKE]do some uni work including coordinate our online project for extra 5 TMA points[/STRIKE]
- PUT MONEY INTO DAILY SCRATCHCARD SITE!!!!!

Think that is enough given it is almost 9pm already!!

Hi All

Today I have /will:

- post here to keep me on track
- check online banks
- quidco clicks
- bought cd from bang cd using a £1 discount voucher plus 10% quidco :money:
- free lunch at work
- free scratchcard - 10p :rolleyes:
- had productive meeting with boss, all part of the master plan to make me indispensable and therefore get more money (very long term plan, this one!)
- visited friend to help her with an application form and came away with her leftover chicken which did me and DS for tea, along with frozen hm mash, yorkies and peas from freezer
- enter at least 10 comps
- check freebies and grabbits boards
- wrap up cd sold on play.com


Think that's about it for today. Is it just me, or does anyone else find their list repeated day after day?

Today I have:

• NSD!
• Checked online banking
• Store cupboard dinner/packed lunch/brekkie!
• Avoided the gym
• Daily scratches (10p :rolleyes:)
• Spent most of today on here!!!

evening!!

well... i pulled myself together and got on with stuff today!

have just finished cooking and with £2 mince, big value mushrooms, 4 value tins toms, 1 tin baked beans, big squeeze of tom puree, handful of oats, seasoning, lots of herbs and 2 cheapy onions, garlic and some chilli from asian c&c i have made enough spag bol / chilli for 14 loki sized dinners!!! all now cooling in freezer boxes and will just need rice / pasta cooking and if feeling extravagant garlic bread and salad!!

very pleased with myself!

have also sorted out some of the other jobs on my list and now i am going to the shop for a bottle of wine!!!

sorry for moaning earlier - thank you everyone for your support

the kitchen is where i feel at home and it makes me feel better when i cook nice things - also now will have lots of easy stuff in freezer for when oh is in hospital.

Snap - when the going gets tough I always head to the kitchen to destress with cooking/baking session:D productive and stressbusting at the same time;)

Hi guys, its a late one for me tonight but thought Id post before going to bed.
Been at work all day so dont feel like I have accomplished much in the way of DFW, but have managed a NSD.

Also-

*Took brekkie and HM lunch to work
*Made spinach and ricotta cannalloni for dinner, never made it before it was soo nice and we have tons of leftovers too, so thats a few meals sorted
*Checked bank acc and updated spreadsheet..come on payday!
*Had free drinks at work
* Done quidco clicks
