Terms and conditions

1. The competition (the "Competition") is open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over.
2. The Competition is not open to employees or agencies of Guardian News & Media Limited ("GNM"), OG Enterprises Limited or IFA Promotion Limited, their group companies or their family members.
3. Entry into the Competition is acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
4. To enter the Competition, use the IFA search to answer the following question: What is the name of the independent financial adviser nearest to your home postcode. Please submit your answer together with your home postcode and details in the boxes above and press the "submit" button.
5. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
6. No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete, or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.
7. The closing date for entering the Competition is 25 February 2009. Entries received after the closing date will not be processed.
8. One winner will be selected at random from all the correct entries submitted. The judges' decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. One winner will receive a prize of £1,000.
10. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for other prizes. GNM and OG Enterprises accept no responsibility in connection with the prize and disclaim all liability for any costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize.
11. The winner may be required for promotional activity.
12. Details of the winner can be obtained by sending a stamped address envelope to the following address: IFA Promotion Limited, 90 St Vincent Street, Glasgow, G2 5UB.
13. No purchase necessary.
14. GNM and OG Enterprises accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by persons as a result of entering the Competition or accepting the prize. GNM and OG Enterprises further disclaim liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Competition. Nothing shall exclude the liability of GNM or OG Enterprises for death or personal injury as a result of their negligence.
15. IFA Promotion Limited reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control.
16. The Competition will be governed by English law.

Whaaa'? :eek:

Did you uncheck the first tickbox so that it searched all IFAs, not just online ones? And leave all the other options as is.

Can't I just spend the £1000...in the current climate is there anything to invest in...and IFA's have a bit of a dubious reputation here!!!:rolleyes:
