This forum surely takes the biscuit.

Can`t get a house, everyones fault but mine.

Can`t get a better paying job to allow me to get a house, read above.

It`s Gordon Browns fault that the majority of the developed worlds banking systems have failed.

It would have been alright under the Tories.

    Single mothers have destroyed society.

Maggie says there is no such thing as society to destroy anyway.

    Everyones fault but mine.

People on here should write a song about it.

I've stayed out of this thread until now, but what's gotten your goat ??, has the council told you to move off that derelict ground you and pickled pink have your caravans parked on.:D Cheer up, life will get better.

There are those who genuinely cannot work, and they should get support. Those who genuinely cannot work through illness, probably wish they could.

Then there are those who don't want to work but want to get paid for it. All of these people should work for their benefit. There are plenty of things that need doing.

Those who are unemployed should be made to learn a new skill through work. They should do a normal working day.

Much depression is actually caused through not working and having no routine, so working can help many people, irrespective of how much they get paid.

No-one who is physically/mentally able to work should receive benefits unless they are willing to earn them.

At the present time my tax is paying for someone else to do nothing.
Thought processes can be managed positively, so that they help you to achieve what you want, rather than hindering your judgement.

Crikey you failures are still blaming everyone but the real culprits.

Blimey, this is a blast from the past!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I think we need to be very careful when discussing depression. Yes, it wouldn`t take much to " try it on " with the doc but it is also a very severe and crippling illness. I have a friend who suffers badly but for ever is being sent home or getting signed off from work. She is getting as much help as she can. This is not faked, sadly a recent over dose that wasn`t fatal proved that.

Having had personal experience,(Stress disorder) I would say keeping busy rather than wallowing in your misery definately helps. Without friends at work asking whether one was OK, I very much doubt I would have noticed that anything was wrong (suck it up mentality).

I have to say, I do think a lot of people claim depression where acually they are just down.
