Thanks for this, great bargain. I especially like the Amazon reviews

Does anyone know whether this would be too big for a bachelor like me i.e I would need it to brew at the most 1 or 2 cups of coffee at a time.0

I ordered one of these yesterday - but have not received any email acknowledgement of my order and when I check the website it says 'tracking is unavailable'..
I thought it would have shipped today ? Has anyone had any update ?
Thanks,
Mark
P.S. Thanks to OP for this thread..0 -

Weird - as I never received any email from them.. Did they say when you would receive the coffee maker in your email ? Also, can you track online the order ? as it shows my order but won't let me track it.
Thanks,

I've just phoned EmpireDirect and they say the coffee maker is being delivered to me today.
Good job I'm working from home

Just received mine and it's the bleeding edge of coffee maker technology (compared to my 15 yr old Philips anyway). One thing, I can't get the toggle between 24hr & am/pm display to work ( hold both buttons simultaneously for 2 secs) - anyone ??
Also, to answer the q's in previous postings:-

It's pretty big but you can brew as little or as much as you want with it.
Can I please ask what sort of coffee does this maker use can you use the pods type of coffee thanks
Traditional ground coffee that you buy in 227 or 500g bags, not pods.0 -
Ordered from Amazon on 13th January and even though they had some available on their web site for delivery they put the delivery back to 5th Feb ! Anyway complained and they gave me a £3 money off next order code

It arrived today ........ Hurray
I need at least 5 cups of fresh coffee in the mornings to wake me up !
Used it twice now and it is very very good. Nice coffee flavour at just the right temperature. Easy to use and keeps the coffee fresh tasting even after half an hour in the machine. i would have paid more than the £15 or so that this coffee machine cost.0
