11 pages of cooker door parts here - http://www.cooker-parts.co.uk/10228/info.php?p=8&cat=14005
Post the model number and make - I enjoy a bit of a google challenge0 -
It's a Stoves Newhome GL716 (Double Integrated Gas Oven) :j0

It looks like that is a shortened model number. The model numbers for Stoves seem to be a lot longer. This site tells you how to find the information plate that will have the number. I've linked to Oven Door parts for Stoves ovens.

Just to advise from an insurance perspective, if your oven is repairable i.e. the glass can be replaced this is all the policy will cover unless you can obtain written confirmation your oven is beyond repair then the policy will replace your oven on a like for like basis and will deduct your excess from either the repair or replacement.0

Right ok I have found a model number 050503089 I hope I can find something0

I think I have found it thanks to Mattymoo £121.49 for a new top door. Only prob is i'm not sure how I would go about fitting this. any ideas anyone. http://www.espares.co.uk/part/cookers-and-hobs/stoves/050503089/p/1092/630/0/885261/956673/grill%2f-top-oven-door-glas.html0

The door will just be attached via a hinge and screw or bolt fixings. However, they tend to be hidden within the space between the oven cavity and the outer shell of the cooker.
An oven cleaning firm will be quite proficient at stripping down ovens and their linings / panels etc (they do this to clean these parts in a tank) and ought to be able to fit one for you.
Alternatively, since the top oven is out of action anyway, you've nothing to lose by stripping it down yourself till you get to the door mountings.
Ideally you should do all this with the oven in its normal resting place. You might need to get a pro in to fix if it looks like you are going to have to move the oven because of the gas supply line.
EDIT - having said all this, this blog tale made me laugh. About halfway down the page.

Also - just spotted the spare parts store on the Stoves website (didn't notice it before).

Might be cheaper than a third party company. I've ordered a grill handle from them before and they were very efficient.
Another edit - just had a look at my Stoves built in oven. Has a glass outer and inner door, fitted into metal channels at the side. The hinge is attached to this channel. There are screws along the channels. I guess you take these out, detach the hinge (probably a sliding fitting) and voila. Do not tackle it from the oven side as that will be the springs are that the blog article I posted above refers to.0 -
Thanks a lot you have been a great help I will order the door and add it to my boyfriends list of things to do he will be so pleased0
