He has put time and effort into keeping the thread going with regular updates and producing spreadsheets showing the members and amounts saved. He has inspired a lot of people to start saving for specific goals, myself included.

Thousands have benefited and Tesco seems to have come up with the cash for most.

I dont actually know how to post a link but im sure u know when i say Greenfingers and the £2 coin club, this is amazing, never ever (and i mean EVER) have i been able to save money but this is great i dont feel like im in competition but like im part of a team an it really helps,, an if some one can help me save money then they are definatly worth nominating.

I'd like to nominate Greenfingers for all his work on the £2 Savings Club.

He keeps a list of how ALL the savers are doing, and what they are saving for. This thread is very inspirational, and just shows that no matter what our situation is, a little saving can go a long way. I'm saving to pay off my overdraft - above and beyond my debt reducing. Previously my coins would have stayed in my purse and been spent - now they are truely working for me.
