Just back from Tesco where they are selling special edition Marmite with champagne in a Valentine's pot with a heart on - ideal for Marmite lovers and/or those who can't or won't eat chocolate at the moment. £3 for a big pot.
You could package this with one of those toast gadgets that puts an impression of a heart on the toast, like this at £4.95...or a heart toast rack like this at £7.
Or you could simply add this to the breakfast tray or table on Valentine's D ay. :blushing:0 -
How about booking the £20 day trip to Calais? I know I'd love it if my husband booked me a day away from the kids!

hello,
I've wrapped a shoebox in shiny paper and am putting in it:
'I love you', 'hugs', 'kisses' etc on about 100 peices of paper
A rolo wrapped up in foil in a box and wrapped up.
A cd with the song Valentine that I've downloaded free from www.myspace.com/fionahughes
All the reasons I love him eg, he makes me laugh, he's kind, etc written out
A mini bottle of red wine for 99p from Tesco
Worlds Best Husband Certificate that I've just done on my pc
I like the idea of the star thing too - thanks altimate
and anything else I can fit in0 -
We're moving house and have no money coming in at the moment. My fiance is getting a card, I'll get him to help me cook us a special meal and if he's really lucky he can unwrap me

Sorted

Following on from my previous post, I don't really go a bundle on buying Valentine gifts - not because I don't like romance, I think the things that mean the most don't cost a thing. Cooking a nice meal together, flicking through old photographs, planning our wedding, going for a walk along the seafront and having a real conversation (other than vegging in front of Eastenders as we normally do!) - basically, just doing something that we don't normally do. I find that far more romantic than heart shaped red things that cost a small fortune (no offense to anyone who likes all that, we're all different!).
I don't like being made to feel that we have to buy something to prove we love each other, that's far from romantic.0 -

There is a G-string to match but can't recall if Woolworths just do the bra or both.
