omg thanks for all your anserws i still havent a clue yea its a size of a plate, i did ask at the pound shop and she didnt know thats why she gave it for 50p, i dont think its part of a set there was lots of them on a shelf, i no its for the micowave because it says dishwasher, microwave safe, oh well i will just have to try to use it and see what happens0

Well it's devinitely upside down.
I would say it was a steamer too.
If you take it apart, does the bowl without the holes fit underneath the other bowl? (both facing the same way)Sealed pot challenge #5830
