Wont things be more expensive at the lakes? I really want to get them before we go as we arrive on a Sunday and I dont know that all the shops will be open as it really isnt 'in season'

Everything outdoor shop-wise will be open in the Lakes... As folk have said there are plenty of shops in Keswick and the other place to try is Ambleside (could be done on your way up to Keswick...). :beer: Lots of choice up there, lots of sales on and advice in the shops should you need it... :cool:
