gps for nokia 6630

Hi all!

I understand that I need a receiver+ tom tom software to turn my mobile into a gps unit. where would I find all this? only e bay? where do you get a stand for it? wht's the best brand?

Yes,you will also need a large MMC card ( pref 256mb or 512 if you plan on storing lots of mp3s aswell) to take the TT software..

Ebay is a very good bet for all your needs... i got a Bt77 Receiver for just under £40, software was obtained from another source , and mmc cards can be bought from most good stockists..

I got mine up and working with in ten mins .. :ok

what's bt77? where can i buy that from?

is it worth it, i mean gps on 6630?

I use navicore with my 6630 and can't imagine travelling without it now!

tt works fine on 6630 (and 6600) as ive got both set up on it
you can get a holder from asda for about £2 which clips onto the vent
the bt77 type gps units work fine (esp the newer v2 ones)

Bt77 is a gps receiver.. does the job just fine...

Me im running TomTom Mobile on 6630 on a 512 mb Rsdvmmc card.. with all current updates.. and loads of mp3 s aswell..

Sat nav on your fone.. deffo worth it.. even if you know where your goin .. especially if sometimes forget where them speed cameras are alot.. Invaluable!

You will deffo need a holder for your fone etc.. and im gonna get a dual lighter charger so can do both gps and fone charged in one go..

You can purchase Tomtom mobile already installed on a MMc card from ebay if you have a good look around..

yeah.. I had Tomtom Mobile on a 6660 now on my 7610 I wouldn't be without it!!! I brought a 1 gb card for my 6660 as my bf was gonna take it to the U.S so put alot of maps on it!

I wouldn't live without it now!!! I used my 7610 in Italy and it was spot on!
