I hope the snow clears quickly for you then! I am at work, but plenty won't make it in - the joy of rural roads, and lorries that can't manage.....

But other than that I am doing fine - I recharged my batteries in December with a much needed break - I went skiing with a friend - no kids, no husbands, no hassle.....just what the doctor ordered. I also had, for the first time in my working life, the period between Christmas and New year off, so a lovely long break for me - again, just what I needed.

So......I have a bit more energy than I had for the majority of last year - it is just a case of making that energy last.....or discovering some sort of renewable energy!!

I had some time off over christmas too. But (and this may sound dreadful so i apologise) the girls drove me batty :o

I was so relieved when the first day of term started. Sadly the relief was short lived. Never mind. I am determined to take some 'me' time off during the term and try and get some well paid work during the school hols when colleagues want to spend more time with their children.

Skiing tho...mountains, clean clear fresh air. Its been years. I would have loved that. You deserved the break. Don't go busting a gut now tho. xx

It was a very welcome break, I can tell you! And it did make me realise that I am in need of some sort of break otherwise it will be me that breaks which is no good......so, I don't know what the plan is for this year, but it will involve some sort of days out/meals out/breaks (all courtesy of Tesco clubcard vouchers, of course!) in order that I can keep myself going!

I know what you mean about the kids driving you mad......when I was working from home, I had a log cabin in the garden to work in - to start with, I had this wonderful vision of half terms with the kids, so no clients booked in.

By day two, I was inventing clients and disappearing down the garden to the cabin armed with the paper, a flask of coffee and the laptop :o

Lol, DS has made it back to school for 1 day. Yesterday he spent most of the day playing in the snow and helping his Grandad.

Today, he has just brought me in some eggs and toast for breakfast, and will be helping me with filing etc this morning. I WILL make him GLAD to be back at school when it reopens!

    Hi Guys

Monday is here again. Thank goodness the schools are open now and we can get back to some form of normality. I love snow but the novelty is starting to wear off.

Been to Hull today - not a nice journey - snow/ice, bad driving etc.....yuk.

Paid £100 to them today making £600 so far.

On track for this year (if you can call one week in being on track)! :p

Have a good week everyone. Be careful out there x

One week on track is one week down and on your past record the first of many - well done
