I also got a load of clothes, DS games and smellies so i won't need to buy much for myself for a while!

  • Anyone still about?

Feeling very low :( as I have been looking at my debt totals. Me and OH both have loans and when I included them, I put whats left on the loan, not the real amount which includes the interest!

So real debt at LBM in Sept was £33,526 and not £26,500 :o

Trying not to cry and keep positive!

On the plus side, in nearly 5 months we have shaved £3332 off that amount.

I need a glass of wine!

    xx
Joint debt with OH at LBM Sept 08 (excluding mortgage & student loan) - £34,069

Such a kick in the teeth when we make these mistakes, however just think about how much you have learnt since joining this site and how much you have paid off. Instead of focusing on what is left look at what has been paid.

You seem to be doing brilliantly and that is a big chunk to have paid off in a short time.

Also try focusing on it as one debt at a time or something like that, breaking it down into manageable chunks can make it seem less big!

Sending you lots of positive thoughts and hugs, however if you want a cry go for it, do what feels right for you, as tomorrow is another day.

Lucky star happy birthday, hope you had a good day.

Thanks for the thoughts guys, am sure the time away will do us both some good, can't help thinking i will be lonely, but am sure it will fly and we will be happy to see one another again. I'll just have to bore you lot with my extra long lists!!

So sorry MrsA, you must be so disappointed.

You have done so well so far, so please focus on that tonight - what you have paid off already is a huge amount and you should feel very proud.
