  • Hi,
I have /am having another busy day today.
    Hope everyone is OK.
    Thing I have done today.

    1) Took all the plastic carrier bags to the local goodwill shop. I know the ladies in there quite well and gave them a jar of marmalade that I made, a week ago. They asked if they could buy some so said that they would have 3 jars at a pound each, that pays for the ingredients for all 12 jars that I made so any more sales is profit :j

    1) Made up some apple cinnamon Ready brek" the kids love that in the mornings. (this is there first winter in the UK really not used to these cold days)

    3) Two NSD in a row.
    4) Sealed pot has been looking at me accusingly so put a couple of pound coins in there.:D

    On the To Do list.

Last night had Haggis and veg, so I made extra veg so we can have bubble & squek to night.

Going to make the micro sponge that I saw on here yesterday, going to use the Kiwi jam that I made just before christmas as the kids will not eat it (they say it looks funny,,,,,it green with pips, what did they expect ? I suppose that is 15 year olds for you :D)

You know, I think I may just be going a little overboard with all this fugalness, my son made me a cup of tea last night for him and me and used two teabags  When I said he only needed to have used one for both the drinks, his response was.
" Are you sure you dont want me to put them on the washing line net time":eek:

Fay - just let the messiness sneak back in slowly a day at a time that way she will get acclimatised and not really notice:rotfl: :rotfl:

Andan _ Hugs for you:A , make sure you spend some quality time with OH before he goes away.

Yorkshire Belle - So glad you de lurked and started posting again, i love your posts always very constructive and supportive:D

Marru - Glad you are feeling more in control - Hang in there:A

Pipsmum - top tip number 1. from a mum of four - don't be creeping around when pip is asleep - get on with your everyday stuff and he will learn to settle amongst any kind of noise etc. I used to have mine fast asleep in moses baskets and hoovering under them without a peep;)
Top tip number 2 - when baby gets down for long nap - so does mum - especially when you have been up all night.

mbaz - sorry about the uni, hope you don't let it put you off trying again

Everyone else - you are doing great - keep up the good work:T :T :T

  • Hi All

    Today I have/will:
-Checked online banking (twice :rotfl: ) and transferred £31.50 to my ISA. I am trying to put all my money in there for my card till the 0% runs out so I can accumulate some interest, but i'm getting a bit worried about the banks folding. Am I better off just paying it just incase?
    -Surveys
    -Comps
    -Bought lunch into work
-Posted my Cex package through work and they didn't charge me the whole thing, so got it a bit more cheaper and it was cheaper then the post office in the first place for some reason
    -Looked for mystery shops
-Applied for a job £10k more than mine so for that reason I won't get it, lol
    -Wash clothes on 30
-Iron and pack clothes for tomorrow
    -Signed up to TAB bingo
-Find my old card statements to reclaim charges
-Get my jewellery sorted to see if I can sell it to the jewellers tomorrow - i'm worried about feeling a bit !!!!! when I go in there

Good tips SM, he is like his father and will sleep through anything!! The dog barks, the clock chimes, I have TV on now problems.........in the day. Nightime is a whole new ball game, he becoms the lightest sleeper in the world!!! I know he will eventually work out the difference between day and night and for most of the time he is a good little baby. I need to get into the habit of snoozing in the day, at the min I use the time to catch up on odd jobs.
