But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D
Today i will:

Andan glad you are feeling a little better now:D , fay - hope everything is working out with the new lodger:p
At last I hve a normal straightforward weeka t work so should be able to get my office organised etc without having to keep going places or training people - lots to catch up with.

Have a great day everyone:D

Today so far I have:
Checked online banking
Packed up some CDs that I have sold on Music Magpie - they only pay a little, but I don't want them any more (v. old), and could do with the space. But hey, every penny off the mortgage helps!
Later I will:
Take packed lunch to work.
Storecupboard supper (sausages with mushrooms and lentils a la N. Slater)
Post off CDs and some books I have sold on Amazon. It's funny isn't it, nothing sells for ages, then several things at once.
Go to work
Not NSD as I have to buy some parcel tape and a new printer cartridge (cheaper via IT shop at work).
Hope everyone has a good day:j0 -

Quick post to give commiserations to mbaz, I've been reading your posts about applying and am sorry you've had bad news. Perhaps an access to HE course might be better than A level Biology, a friend of mine did this and loved it. If it's your dream to do something you have to keep pursuing it - don't let anyone put you off!
