Happy Friday everyone.
I know I am going to be spending today as I am buying lunch today (I like that it is now a treat to do this) and I have friends coming for dinner so somethings will need to be bought for that but that will come out of food shopping budget.
Have a good day everyone and happy no/low spending.Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

Morning all.
I went to visit my brother in Manchester yesterday and I'm pleased to say I managed not to spend any money!
Petrol was all paid for by my mother and we only had one meal in the city centre (which I didn't pay for).
So I'm still on target for this week :j
I've not spent anything this week (apart from the phone bill). It's really tough though. I don't think I could have another week with such a limited budget. I take my hat off to those who manage on low (or no) budgets.

I'm astounded to report I've actually managed to stick to the zero spend! Even when I ran out of onions yesterday, made the dinner without...
It hasn't been as difficult as I thought it would be, maybe I've balanced it out knowing that I paid an extra £100 off my credit card - and that's what it's all about really...Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
Total debt today: £0 - debt and mortgage free 29th November 2013 :T

Spent £2.10 on a vodka and soda last night, so £14.35 remaining.
Got yoga late this afternoon, that's £3, and out for noodles and a couple of drinks tonight for friend's birthday. So will probably spend all my remaining £11.35! Don't have any plans for the rest of the weekend, working tomorrow night and all day Sunday so that's handy!!

I spent one whole pound yesterday on parking! But although I went to several shops I didn't buy anything. So now I still have £12.50 left and we are on the last day - now maybe next week I shall aim for just £10. Not expecting to spend anything today, fingers crossed.
Well done everyone so far.

I'm saving up mine until the end of the year. Then I'm going to add it to the total in my savings account. It will show me how much money I could have so easily wasted.Looking forward to the future.0 -

I'm not in a position to be saving at the moment so I think whatever I left at the end of today is going to be paid off CC. I'm going to keep a note of it each week though.
Purpleprincess - my first thought was to spend it too....
.....then I remembered I am a DFW if not quite an MSE yet!A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

Think what I'm going to do is put it in a separate purse like I have been doing and every 4 weeks whatever is in there I will put towards paying off my overdraft, every little helps!! As this is "my" money I think I won't be too strict on myself if I need to take a pound or two out if the need arises.
