Best phone for photos and video - Help Please!
I am just starting the process off upgrading my phone. I want to stay with Orange, I might change for the right deal, but more important to me is getting the right phone.
The thing I really want it to be good at is taking pictures and video as I have two little ones and I like taking snaps of them when I can. I know the pics arent as good as a real camera, but I carry so much stuff with me (nappies, wipes, juice!) I don't want to carry a camera too!
What would your recommendation be? Is there anything coming out soon I should hang on for?
Thank you!

Are you on contract? If so then look at the 5/8 mega pixel phones - certainly no less than 3mp, which is the minimum for a decent photo when blown up to A4 size. The better LGs, Samsungs and N series Nokias all have VGA video recording built in too. Sony Ericsson tries hard at cameraphones too and was the class leader until recently.
The best cameraphone considered to be available at the moment is the Samsung i8510. It won the best cameraphone award in both Mobile Choice and What Mobile magazines. But the LG Renoir, Samsung Pixon, Nokias N82, N85, N95, N96 and the Sony Ericsson C902 or C905 are all worth a serious look if you're after a top end cameraphone. The iPhone, which I have, is not a good cameraphone and cannot record video (officially!).
