fab for putting weight on. I also feed Atora ( the blue one ) to my Rough Collie girl through the winter and just after a season, other wise she looks like a hairy coat rack.

what dry food are you feeding?

The Atora is a great idea! Im not feeding him dry food due to him not having many teeth in the front..bless!

Thanks FC...his name is Harry. Ive been feeding him on Pero working dog food. He has had terrible diarrhoea since though! Ive fed him one tin a day. Ive been wary of adding egg etc as i dont want to make it worse, it seems to happen once a day.

Dont add anything at all for now - till his tum and bum get used to the tinned food. Just feed the amount he should be getting fed - but smaller portions over the course of the day - perhaps three meals then go down to two in a week if his bum tightens up (iyswim).

If it doesn't get any better then that food possibly is too rich and you will need to change

Thanks for all the replies! His poo is getting more formed (sorry for tmi!), so i am going to persevere for a while, and see if it improves further. Fingers crossed. I gave him some egg today with it, and he definately feels heavier when i pick him up. Hes extremely happy and has taken over the sofa next to me,curled up with my other dog...oh says he misses me!:rotfl:
