Ending a Vodafone contract
Options
Does anyone have a contact number or e-mail address for the Vodafone disconnections department, my letters never get a reply.
Funny how a contract with this telecom giant can start on the web, on the phone or in a shop but ending it is apparently only done by snail mail.

Ring 191 on your handset then you have to follow the options. The prompt will then say something like "If you are planning to leave Vodafone press *". You then get through to the disconnections. You can also go through the "contact us" on the Vodafone site and fill in the e-mail form.0

Try sending your cancellation letter recorded delivery then you know that they have recieved it, ive had it once sent by ordinary post and they claimed they didnt recieve it, i actually sent my letter off yesterday recorded so if you want the address to send it to send a message and i can let you know;)The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0

Two letters sent to Vodafone, one e-mail to Vodafone. I'm now informed that because this contract was taken out with Carphone Warehouse I have to contact them in regards to cancelling. 12 month contact rapidly turning into 14 months.0

Had a lot of problems two years ago with Vodafone, and have since warned everyone of going with them. They took forever to sort things out, and I ended up with 16 months instead of 12 months contract.
After going through Ofcom and the Telecommunications Ombudsmen, I finally got a number that might be worth calling: 08701 654 321 (at least I hope this is the one).
If this is the right number, it will get you their public relations team. These guys have powers to overide any instore/online/snail mail agreement.
Did the trick for me in the end (but be worth mentioning that you got the number of the ombudsmen and mention that you talked to them already!).
Good luck!0
