Should I Change To An Electric Shower?

My boiler is a Potterton Performa 28 but one word of warning - I have had no problems but the plumber was round the other day (fixing a loo problem) and got a call about a Potterton and a problem with its electronic ignition (not the PCB I don't think). I asked him about it and he said the firm had installed a lot of Pottertons over the last couple of years (mine is two years old) and were just starting to see problems appearing withe electronics. So worth asking about it. That said I have been very pleased with mine (Model 28 is not the smallest but I have a large Victorian house so need a larger one than the basic model).0
