Toots, think I must have updated in the old thread, which shows that I'm definitely a bit confused at the moment:D . News is good, Dorothy had her leg amputated this afternoon...not that an amputation is ever good news, but it was necessary to save her life, and so far so good. Thanks for asking, and thanks to everyone who sent their prayers and good thoughts....I'm so glad I came back to this site, I thought I'd never keep up with it, but I have and it's been really helpful to me during a rather tough week!0 -
LadyLiberty I hope it all goes well at the hospital tomorrow - don't know if it'll effect you, but OH said that college lane was closed when he was coming home tonight, but it may have opened by the time you go.

Crafty & L-L - good luck tomorrow
Lily-Sue - wishing your MiL a swift recovery
Oven cleanedand TWO more cupboards cleaned out and tidied
. I now have space in the under-sink cupboard (I keep plastic boxes and a draining rack with an integrated drip-tray under there) and the one next to it (tea towels & kitchen roll, the rest of the stuff has gone into the utility room).
Have been on the phone to my mum and have discovered that my aunt and uncle in France have no electricy or phone (except mobiles, which they can't recharge) and the river in the valley below their house has burst its banks. Apparently my cousin went to look at their new warehouse, and the water is right up against the walls, and the pumps can't be used... because of no electricity. And I thought it was windy here last night.
A few more bits to do, I'll come back to update my list before I go to bed!
ETA L-L - don't worry about the scan. I think you said it was an MRI. They're not as bad as some people make out. I fell asleep in my last one (abdominal scan, about 40 mins, very dull), which apparently was absolutely fine as far as the radiologist was concerned!0 -
Yay!
123 pieces of paper flung and accounts done, now only keeping business records in the drawer and not assorted other rubbish.
Tax return tomorrow once I get the P60's etc out - but thats the quicker bit!
And think I'll owe much less than I thought, which is nice in a way, but no so good in a true business sense as profits somewhat lower than hoped. Maybe time for a rethink?
Now a glass of something, tidy kitchen and my pit..see you tomorrow hopefully without attached limpet.
moamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Pigpen - I noticed a lot of people are asking how Tabitha is, is everything ok?
Hugs and kisses to all those with hospital apptms, dentist apptms, and family members in hospital.
I will need to do lots of washing up tmrw just to acheive level one! My DH informed me tonight that we have nothing to eat with or off! Definately need to wash up!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

I'm in, just been finalising a study/life plan for the next few months, now I just need to pray it works. Well almost finalised anyway, got to make sure DPs study plan fits in around it too and his pack hasn't arrived yet.
Pigpen still thinking of little Tabitha and you all x
Oh and I am in, this weeks not as manic, yet. Tomorrow NOTHING booked in during the day but meeting on the evening, so I can go find a present for DS2s birthday. Tuesday DS2s birthday and caravan booked in for service. Wednesday depends on if the caravan gets finished Tuesday......but toddlers then DS2s enuresis clinic appointment. THURSDAY is the important day, my assesment for my back/legsgets the ball rolling. Friday deliberately kept empty as last thing like that I was in agony afterwards. Oh yes apart from housework and 25 hours minimum studying thats pretty much my week.....Oh I must must must book a hairdressers appointment if I can get in!
Catch you all laterOne day I might be more organised...........
