  • I'm in again this week. Feel like I'm starting to get back on top of things again now so hopefully either this week (or maybe next) I'll be straight enough to tackle those 'extra' jobs that need doing, e.g. sorting out the 2 boxes of filing, sorting out photos, etc, etc.

Pigpen...sending thoughts and prayers for your little niece and your sister and OH.

Just a quick hello and goodbye tonight as I'm shattered. We've had a day out at the blue planet aquariam and then a walk along the river in Chester. Also done 1 hour of ironing. Does that mean I can cross off one HHI session for tomorrow and another later in the week Pigpen?:rotfl::confused:

Right, off for an early night. See you all in the morning.

    Hi pigpen,

    I'm in for this week.

I've not been posting cos it is too gossipy on here to read for ages so I've just been looking at page 1 to see what is on for that day. Plus felt unwell again last week so a quiet week on the HW front which left a super messy house to sort out yesterday!

Rather than post last week's list (which I'm still working on :o ), I thought I'd just update with what is left to do from tomorrow's list, plus the other bits that need to be done during the week.

I'm convinced that the utility room and study will be sorted with time, even if not as quickly as I'd like

Monday - kitchen and utility mess
    Level One
    Continue to dejunk utility room
    Level Two
Empty a cupboard.. clean it out then wipe and replace everything neatly.. get rid of all the odds and sods that shouldn't be in there.. I did the four worst at the weekend, so this won't be too bad!
    Level Three
    Clean the oven
    De-web and fluff the room
    Extras
    1. Wash the long window & deal with the plants
    2. HHI
    3. clean out the vacuum cleaner.. wash the filters and when dry replace then!
    My extras:

Pay tree surgeon - will have to ring... still can't find the invoice :o
Organise Friday (visit bed showroom, Royal Academy)
Buy laundry bleach, screen wash and matches
Think of fundraising ideas for ribbon walk (apart from selling excess wedding cake test batches at work!)
Christening present... I'm sure there's something around somewhere that will do ;)
    Wrap presents
    Governing body gap analysis
Wash & store remaining dog bedding
    Finish clearing study
    Make decision on bed (Friday)
    Decide date for Ikea
Agree date to finish utility room

My macaw is (once again) to have my food for work and my gym kit packed up each evening and to go to the gym/classes every evening.

I also want to add that on the evenings I'm not having to pack stuff up (if I'm on leave or working from home the next day), unless I'm out having fun... I'll do at least one thing off that days list, even if it's just flicking a duster round the place!

And I will continue to try to go to bed at a sensible time... I've got to be in the gym at 7am on Tuesday, which going on current performance will be a major challenge!

All cooking done and cleared up, washing up done, TD emptied. So I now need to put some laundry away and get myself ready for bed. Once it's almost all done, I'll make myself some bedtime tea and read for a little bit beforehand.

Good luck with the week ahead everyone!

Well washing up has all been done and dried up by me straight after dinner, so there won't be a massive pile to do tomorrow evening when I get home from the gym. I'm working all day tomorrow and have put my gym kit in the boot of the car so that unless I've had a really tough day and can't face it, I'll go to the gym on the way home. Off to change the sheets in a minute before crashing out in bed. I'm really tired after the collossal amounts of flying I've been doing today.

LadyLiberty I hope it all goes well at the hospital tomorrow - don't know if it'll effect you, but OH said that college lane was closed when he was coming home tonight, but it may have opened by the time you go.

Well night night all, sweet dreams,

    sexymouse xx
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

  • Hi

I'm in again, when I can fit it around hospital appointments this week.
    Hope all goes well L-L
Spent the evening telling the butterflies in my stomach that 'it is just the dentist - no big deal etc' then went to catch up on the old thread and read embb and triker
