Newby money saving chick - yeah.....someone else in my yankee tart club! They're fab aren't they! Have you tried using stardrops on your shower doors - I think you can use it on plastic? Someone else will be along to advise soon.

Who gave me their cold??:p (Good excuse to stay in the warm and do nothing...)

I'm off list today as I had already put the main bedroom bedlinen in the wash, and I've run the vacuum round too. (In between three taxi runs to school for teens too idle to walk...I'm just too nice a mum!)

I'm trying to contact people on freecycle who want the bags of magazines - so why do they email saying they are in all day and then don't answer the phone? I'm pretty much in all day today, and it would have felt good to get rid of the three bags today!

I'll go find the writing paper and then I could do the letters I need to write - or I could start the curtains, or perhaps buy oranges and make marmalade...

pigpen - brilliant news about Tabitha. Is she home yet? Have you had a cuddle? And also good news about the cooker.

    Afternoon all

I've done one load of washing, another load waiting to be done but I don't have any more drying space so it can wait until tomorrow. It's my bedding because that has been stripped this morning and remade.

The wardrobe has been moved back into the little bedroom and I put up a picture this morning so it's really truly finished now.

Polished in my bedroom, dusted the other two and vacuumed right through upstairs.

I sorted out a few more things into the right/new places.

Hope everyone's OK, I haven't caught up yet.

Sunnygirl ((hugs)) sorry to hear about your Grandad.

:( I need your help, with those good luck/fingers crossed etc vibes. Been to collect my baby today (caravan) and it's got serious damp through the back. £1400 worth to be exact, plus VAT I think that was. We have an issue of a missed service but it's still under 3 years old so the dealer is sending a 'good will' form to swift in the hope they may cover it :( really upset as if they don't do it under warranty, I don't think we'll actually be able to use it this year, that will be my holidays budget gone. So please lots of 'hope they cough up' vibes needed!

Right, now that's off my chest, today is studying/flying until 2pm, collect DS2 for pee clinic appointment (joy, they have been pretty useless so far) back about 4pm, more studying and flying.....interesting day huh!
One day I might be more organised...........

Lil_me - 'they will cough up' vibes coming your way! Your caravan isn't that old is it? Do they always get damp? Lots to learn here!

    In my hhc;

    [STRIKE]Clear and wipe surfaces
Scrub the shower, bath, loo's, basins etc.
    declutter and mop the floors!
    chuck out all the empties
    De-web and de-fluff the room
    Wipe all the paintwork

    Walk the dogs
    Declutter 60 things 10-11
    Declutter 60 things 11-12
    Declutter 60 things 12-1
    [/STRIKE]
    Declutter 60 things 1-2
    Declutter 60 things 2-3

So, i've just got two more 60 in 60 declutters to go. Believe me...i'm hardly denting DH's study!!! xx

lil_me ~cough up or else~ vibes ;) look at it from their point of view, it is not a good marketing point for potential buyers that their products develop major faults less than 3 years into ownership. Also there is the good old Sales of Goods Act to quote, 'must be fit for purpose' and I think it is perfectly reasonable to assume that a caravan should be fit to use for more than 2 years.
