steve - if you can buy in an area where there is good tenant demand and the rent stacks up - why wouldn't someone want to buy ? houses have never been cheaper, and mortgage interest rates are the lowest for decades .....

I'm waiting to buy 2 or 3 more houses myself, but why buy now when prices will probably be about 15% cheaper in a years time?

the one thing that came out of this that interested me the most was MissMoneypenny thanking Clutton for his last remark.

She goes on and on and on about Bad LL's.

I make a suggestion to help people who want to become GOOD LL's.

She thanks the person who is completely opposed to it.

Also tbs264 thanking Clutton - who is always on a personal crusade against bad LL's

    What does that tell you?

That you don't like people posting about things that bad landlords get up to?

I noticed you got very upset when I posted about tenants checking to see if their landlord had permission to let from their mortgage lender. Then you got upset again when I posted about a landlord who had gone to jail for mortgage fraud.

BTW, clutton is a she, not a he. I like her sense of humour.
RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.
