I had a similar problem when my kids were born, my ex wife is only 5ft4 and I am 6ft 2", I hated pushing the pushchair because it killed my back. I think we ended up paying around £400 back in 91 for a decent one, that suited my height

We ordered the Silvercross 3D pram system last week. We both tested it a few times and OH was very happy with it ~ he is 6'5 and I'm 5'6.

I have the same problem when looking after my nephew, my sister had a god awful Graco travel system (avoid at all costs) I always felt like I was learning over, bending my back and kicking the buggy, but gosh what a difference a pram makes!
She got a Mamas & Papas Luna Mix which I just love, theres loads of clearance between you & the buggy and the handle bar can be adjusted to suit my height!!
Its suitable from birth, easy to fold & light weight, its fits into the boot of my corsa & you can fit a carrycot or car seat in it for newborns!
You can see it on there website or if you have a store near you can try out the display model for you & your partner!
I would strongly suggest before you buy go into a store and thoroughly test out the model you like, you may feel like a plonker pushing it around with no baby in it, but It'll save you from making a costly mistake and choosing the wrong buggy!!

I'm really 5'5 and a half, but I think it's right to round up to the next inch :o :rotfl: :rotfl:

It's quicker for me to say 5'6 too! :D

I have a Mutsy Urban Rider for my DD and the handle has 4 different heights, my DH is 6ft and im 5ft 5 and it suits us both, i actually prefer to use it on the highest handle height, before we decided on the Mutsy we looked at the Bugaboo Chameleon and i was set on it but then realised i couldnt get it up and down very easily and thats what put me off, i personally hate buggies and have only ever used 1 once on holiday, i love my Mutsy and wouldnt change it, its a really great pram but its a bit heavy, for me thats the only drawback that it has.

I have the Quinny Buzz - i take it when you say its around £600 you are including the Dreami carrycot, the maxi cosi car seat etc?

i thought about the dreami but didnt get it and am glad, my friend got it and used it mainly for the baby to sleep in in the house - and if this is what your intending then i wouldnt bother with this part, as it only lasts a short time (maybe 10 weeks), and you'd be better just buying a moses basket.

As an answer to your problem - it is great as the handle extends out - my husband is 6'2 and I'm 5'4 and it suits both of us.

Edited to Add: Aaaagh! just checked prices again the Buzz is £350 (did i pay that much was I mad!) and then from memory maxi cosi car seat is around £100 (amazon have it at mo for £64 though - buy it quick!), we also got the isofix base which is another £90 - so OMG we did pay over £500 for the lot and thats without the Dreami! i must have had pregnancy spendalot syndrome lol!
