Perhaps they'd have assumed you'd swap all the bits back. But now you've just destroyed the value of the old kit to them. What's the point of boasting about this?
  • They may ask for those items back or charge you for them.

im not boasting at all,i was saying how good there customer care was,all they asked for back was the phone, charger and battery which was confirmed by the courier picking it up.

i would have been more than happy for them to just send me a new charger but they insisted on sending me a new phone too.

those comments were based on the unedited original version, which appeared to imply you'd also kept perhaps the first phone and certainly other kit rather than send simply back the whole lot complete

no they didnt,i only mentioned accessories, anyway all i was trying to say is orange customer service was very good.....:rotfl:
  • I'm with Orange, I got the N96 and had numerous problems, the first time hey replaced it, it came on a Sunday, complete with new charger etc, every time after that (I had 9 replacement phones in a month!) i just gave back the phone minus battery and simcard. In the end, because of all the problems I was having, they let me change to the LG Viewty. My screen then broke on that at Leeds Festival, I rang them from my frien phone while I was there, and a replaement was sent on the Monday when I got home. Can't fault them at all!

no mine is still within the 28 day period of buying it so apparantly the policy is if the phone develops a fault in any way orange will replace it as soon as possible, which means next day wether it be midweek or weekend.
