  • DH got me 'The Money Diet' for Christmas, and I have spent this morning deciding on my 2007 MoneySaving aims. As per my sparkly new sig, starting a 2pound coin savings club is an aim for January - Thanks to the OP for the idea!

I'm really excited about this and since starting my little saving jar, Ive managed to save (with help from OH) £129 in 2 & 1 £ coins.

And its a miracle we've not spent any of it. Hopeless at saving anything. This is going towards our Florida wedding in Oct 2008

Thankyou for the tip, and like lady_noluck Im too asking for them in my change

we've also got a demi-john bottle with loose small change in there, mainly 1p's, 2p's, 5p's & the odd 10p & 20p's, last count was about £28. Plus there is £58 in the joint saving's account. So we're doing pretty well.
