I started saving in June, after I did a carboot and got loads. I banked £60 recently and already have another £56 to add. I'm saving for my 40th in January !!

4 more shiny coins for me in the last 24hrs(!!) :j - although it helped when 3 arrived at once because the shop had no £5 notes for my change...:rolleyes:

Four more needed to hit my target and then I can start saving for something new...(and hopefully a bit more exciting than car tax!:p).

I have a quality street tin for everything from 1p to 20p at last count it had about £35 pounds in it. I want to wait until theres £100 before I cash it in. Will try and give the £2 collecting a go but they tend to come with me to the pub!

I got 4 today!! Amazing how I thought 'this won't work, I hardly ever see £2 coins' and since Sunday (when I started this) I've had 9.
