Im all new to this and just wanna say
I officially started saving £2 coins yesterday.... when i got 2 of them in my change of £5, the day after i started looking at this forum.... think it was a sign from above!!

Great idea. I am fairly new to this posting lark and wondered why almost everyone's signature mentioned £2 savings, I then found this thread, I am usually to be found lurking on the shopping forum, picking up loads of Money saving ideas for Xmas pressies. So have decided to try and find a way to save for all those little bargains I keep finding. I'm sure I'm money spending not money saving since I've discovered this chat forum.:o0

Aim: To save £1000 by 1st June 2007! Achieved £842!
New Aim - to save £1k by 1st June 2008 - So far banked £654
Change Challene - Aim £150 from 9th July 2007 - £184.66
Bronze Olympic Challenge target £1007. Current total £3340.78:T
Olympic Challenge Part Deux - Aim £3k and saved £1449.43 (£1550.57k to go!!!)0 -
Left Son number 2 at home whilst we were on holiday & he saved £6 for me!!
Picked up another £14 from various places since we came back ten days ago!! Got enough for another holiday!! Yippee!! :j

Finally found where the £2 coin tags came from on so many people's sig. I have been saving £2 coins for a couple of months. Great to write down how much I've saved so far - it takes away the tempation of spending them if I get a bad week!! Thankyou!
