Long time without any, so was driven to desperate measures... Was owed £20 from petty cash at work. Collected it today and it was in a few 50p coins and loads of 10ps. Asked in the office if I could chang some of it and did they have any £2 coins to exchange. They had £20 worth. I restrained myself and just got 5!! Still haven't made myself put it into savings a/c... keep meaning to, but this stash is still my precious...

i'm really sorry for what happened to you. if you say that none could tell it was a money box then i guess the person who stole it must have known exactly what was in it.

For those who need help creating a signature for displaying your £2.00 Coin savings, log on as normal then scroll to the menu bar:-

1. Click - User CP
2. Click - Edit Signature
3. Type your text into the box (Amount saved and savings aim)
4. Edit, set font size, colour as required
5. Add a Smiley too if you wish....
6. Click Preview Signature or Save Signature
7. If previewed and ok then click Save Signature

Easy Peasy….

I got 6 this morning although I cheated and changed up 10 pounds worth of 20p's & 10p's whilst I was at the post office.

I must get myself to the bank this week to deposit the £50 into my savings account. I've been putting it off as I hate taking all the kids with me - roll on end of the easter holiday half term LOL

£60 in total for me now since joining. Will buy premium bonds when my grand total reaches £200. Slowly but surely; having a collection at work and I have to 'buy' any that get put in the pot!

Wow, what a day ive had for £2 coins!!! I went shopping at Aldi, and the total was £70.75 had no change so had to give £80. She gave me back 4 £2 coins in the change! Then i went to the fruit shop got another £2 coin, then to get my lottery another £2 yet again!! Then my DP gets in from work, i ask if hes got any £2 coins i can have , and he hands over 5 of them!!! £22 in one day. unbelievable!!! Taht takes my total up to £32.
