I got a £2 today, first one for ages but I'm trying not to spend much at the moment.

i still havent got a 2 pound coin yet everytime i spend money i say to myself plz gimme one ...... all the two pound coins must belong to all people in da lub as i cant get any

lucky u .... i was wonder later on iof greenfingers log online if someone will tell him to private message me as i would like to ask him how to set up a spreadsheet like he did.. i would like to sety up one for my 20p savers club which i have had a good respnse to... plz could someone tell him to pm me as when i go to private message greenfingers it wont let me. it says that the user name is wrong which i have checked and it aint... ty all

You should be able to PM Greenfingers if you go up to his latest message and click on his avatar - there will be an option to send a private message and that way it knows who you're talking about

I've never had any luck when I've typed names in either - regardless of spelling and capitalisation it doesn't seem to recognise anyone!

I'm gradually knocking my OH into this saving lark :rotfl:

I've been checking his change and taking his £2 coins and putting them in the pot, i've also swopped some of my pound coins for £2 ones:o is that cheating

He called me into the kitchen the other day shouting come and look at this :eek: there was me thinking he's cooked dinner for when i'd finished work, but alas it was just to show me that he was putting one of his £2 coins into the saving pot :eek: oh well, i'll do the sausage mash and onion gravy then :mad:

Finally! I can update my total and now am gonna date it so I know how long since it was added to; to be honest it's getting the balance between keeping out of the shops to avoid spending money and spending in the hope of getting £2 coins. Still as long as the total climbs slowly I'm happy

Ooh, I'd love to join this club! In fact I've been cheeky and have already done my signature!

I've just put the three £2 coins in my possession into my piggybank, and am not going to tell my boyfriend they're there. We also have a big penguin-shaped cookie jar for 1/2/5p's plus any larger change we feel like stashing, although we then raid those coins for milk etc. I don't want him using the £2 coins!

To be saved for a holiday I think.
