I've just had a look at the British Royal mint website and says
"As at 31 December 2003 it is estimated that there were 232 million £2 coins in circulation"
So there should be plenty to go round !There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

Since following this thread, I too have been saving £2 coins, on the quiet, I only have 5 = £10, but I guess its a start, but I would really like to become an official member pplleaassssee!! I even pinched one from my hubbies change he left on the sideit was there for the taking wasn't it?? Oooo I guess it wasn't....bit naughty of me
but I'm sure he won't miss it
