The one thing i have never had is trouble getting through, just reaching satisfactory results has always been mine.

I am still waiting on a reply to my complaint for them changing my direct debit amount to more without even telling me!

    Dont hold your breath!

The same thing has happened to me, I have been on the phone to them since last week trying to sort this out, mine have gone up from £17 a month to £72, they said from February but I found out that they are taking it out in January and thats it too late to stop in now. I live alone in a small 2 bed place and I am out all day and only have my heating on low, its a very warm place. They are telling me that the DD was set too low when I switched to them last year from EON. This seems to be what they do to get you to switch and then after a few months they bump it up. I went for a capped rate when I signed up so they said they will charge me £50 if I want to leave them before August. I dont want to give them anymore money so will stay with them and get a credit when I leave in August. I am really annoyed with them and will not be advising any one to switch to them. I will be paying more then most of my friends who live in bigger households then me.

Kim - it should be quite easy to see if its you or them that's correct, provided you have some old bills also assuming of course there has not been a big fluctuation in usage.

Do a calculation on you current tariff rate.
