Thanks for your suppot & help guys.
Roughly how long does the whole BR process take? From filing the forms to getting a court date?

Also I have an old style student loan that I have a CCJ for can I include this?
And is there any "official" guidance on the amounts that are acceptable for your SOA?

I rang the court yesterday - they gave me two dates, the first to hand the forms in and pay the fee, and the second for the hearing.

I think it depends on the court - my forms day is 12th Mar and hearing 13th Mar.

But if you ring your local county court they should be able to give you an idea of dates.

Just rang the court. They are able to make appointments for 5-10 days after calling. They do the paperwork checking thing, see the judge & if succesful send you to OR office on same day. Theoretically this financial nightmare could be over by the middle of March.
Not quite sure how to get from one day to the next at the moment. Just paying normal bills is starting to become a nightmare. Feeling worried and a bit at the end of my tether.
Only 22 days till CAP appointment. I'm hoping they will come to the same conclusion that I have & this will soon be over, it's like the prospect of having a painful tooth pulled out. It hurts, you want it to go away, but you know to make it better you need to endure a BIG pain!

Gosh that was a bit high-brow:rolleyes:

I am delighted to report that rm and I have now met, to be repeated I sincerely hope.
That lustrous moon continued spectacular all the way back, rm, so hope E's homework was easy as a result.
You are way more than a fine and good person, presently - temporarily - rocked by too many punchbag blows.
It's all coming right and that's by your own efforts.
YOU - and no-one else - dialled CAP and persisted with them.
YOU - and no-one else - acted with peerless courage yesterday.
Thankyou for making me welcome this afternoon.
Now - roll on 27/2 and THAT appointment.
I'll be looking out for MR T's reduced lemons to make another batch of curd:D
