A&L - £100 incentive - Direct Debit Question

Tread very carefully the switching service. I'm currently fighting A&L through the Ombudsman in order to get my £100.

I'm pretty sure u had to transfer all DD over using their switching service, best bet would be to cancel any DD with your old bank before opening the new account

That would be a sure way to stop yourself from getting the £100 incentive.

If you do not have any direct debits to switch you will not receive £100

Just wondering if anyone has recieved their £100 from A&L yet and if so how long did it take?

Goiod luck trying to get any money from Alliance + Leicester, I'm still waiting for £50 from last July through Quidco, even thou A+L have validated the transaction, I'm still waiting they keep moving the date, if they change the date again after Marc then its a financial obsbumen jobbie x

The Financial Ombudsman won't be able to help you. Quidco isn't regulated by the FSA and it's them that pay you the incentive money.

A few days short of 15 weeks in my case.

Applied 17th January - Received £50 quidco today, payable beginning of April.

What I did to qualify within A&L's T&Cs by transferring ALL my direct debits was...
1) Phoned up BOS and linked my BOS credit card direct debit to an old dormant BOS current account.
2) Went thru Quidco to open up the A&L account.
3) Used the A&L switching service to transfer ALL (just one) the direct debits.

I did the same and got the quidco at the same time too. Fingers crossed eh Jesse. Could you let us know when/if you get you £100?
