So AOL havent taken any payments since 1998, how long had they taken payments for before then?

I would send a Subject Access request under the data protection act to the bank for all your information, and possibly also AOL to find out exactly what the situation is.

Do things in writing by snail mail.... always. And keep copies and postage receipts.

Also if you havent already, start off your claim for a refund of overdraft fees.

    Hi
    Sorry My mistake,
the last payment was taken July last year, 2008
So many dates been on my mind lately sorry.

I am not familiar with "Subject Access request"
I am trying to find out what I can do and acting on that I discover with the help from those wiser in this field.

    Thank you for your sugestions
    Kindest regards

    Hi again,

I have been searching through my statements online for this account and have found the AOL payments from 16Jul02 - DEB - AOL UK ONLINE SERV - £5.95 to July 2009

I can't search any further back on the site,
I notice every year in almost every month I was charged £90 overdraft excess fee, plus between £2.30 & £6.49 every month overdraft interest since july 02

    Plus account charges typical £7,

That is some charges, and the aol payment has been made every month since then and way before july 02 as well, but I cannot search before 2002

I have just placed funds into the account to stop any further threats of action, and I am still to reply to accept an offer of their "good will gesture" giving me back charges run up over the agreed overdraft limit of £300 as the charges was just under £200, they offered to give me those back as they said they can see the aol sent the account over the agreed overdraft.

I have not yet accepted this as I did not know if that would effect the rest of my charges or my case at all. this was one thing I wanted to know from others here.

Many thanks for all your replies and advice
    Kindest regards
    Duce
