3G deals?

Am out of contract with Orange now and have given notice on my phone and my wife's phone.
Am looking at getting us both 3G phones (fancy a bit of video calling- say goodnight to the baby while still at work!).
I think currently we're on 250 mins per month, inc. 100 texts each plus some data allowance and picture messages. I'd like to get some video calling thrown into the deal.
Orange Retention Dept. will no doubt give me a good deal to try and keep me, and I'd rather stay there to be honest.
But I know there are some good deals out there for new connections on other networks. I don't think I'd move to 3 as I've heard bad things even though I know they can be very competitive. I may just use the info I discover to negotiate with Orange even if I don't actually switch.
Maybe looking at the new Nokia 6280 and the Sony Ericsson K600i.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

There are a number of amazing deals available with 12 months free line rental on a standard 12 month contract. on the website below. You'll need to pay line rental by direct debit and you'll get it all back via cash back, usually in 3 stages at months 4, 8 and 12.
You can cancel the contract after 12 months, the phone will be yours to keep and after receiving your cash back you'll have paid nothing. :j
This could work out to a saving of £420 a year!! plus a free phone may not be the greatest phone on the market but hey who cares! :T

Don't be too optimistic about Orange Retention Dept. They don't offer exisitng customers any good deals. The adverts shown on TV a few months ago (i.e. Japanese old man being treated as a loyal existing customer) is totally untrue!
My 12 months contract was up in Dec 05, I rang and ask for any offers on V3 - guess what.... need to pay £150 for the handset as well as signing up to a new contract!!!
I said to the Orange CS: "but I can get that handset on PAYG for £129! Orange shops are doing £50 free credit and free handsets at the moment"
Orange CS: "I understand, but the Orange shops and online companies works on commission basis that's why they can offer good deals, sorry..."
Needless to say I'm no longer with Orange0 -
Orange are rubbish. They are a bunch of Satsumas!тнє ѕє¢яєт тσ ¢яєαтινιту ιѕ кησωιηg нσω тσ нι∂є уσυя ѕσυя¢єѕ0

I just received my Motorola E1000 phone on the Vodafone 3G 350 tariff and it will cost me £6.67 per month.0

Beware of 3G though, it can be very patchy in some areas so you may not always receive the 3g signal. Just been on Vodafone for a month and the 3g isn't bad. Started to watch SKY news on the way to and from work but it isn't perfect.**BERTIE**Did you Know: It costs more than £325,000 a day to run the lifeboat service? (with no government funding) Please donate to the RNLI0
