Im back from a running and I did 12 milesand *runs and hides* it felt easy this morning
Although after the torrential rain last night I did have to encounter 2 large puddles that actually covered the whole road and when wading through was up to my ankles...not pleasant! Along with constantly having to stop for cars, lorries, tractors, etc and to tie shoe laces up I did it in 2:00.01....dam that 1 second. Although with stoppages I think I could probably cut at least 3-4 mins off that. Im on a high nowI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Afternoon Everyone
Just caught up with what happned after I went to bed at 10.30.
Weather here is grey & yeuky, the sea looks really rough & horrible !!!
Following on from the friends theme, I have 4 RL friends, they are all girlies I've worked with over the last 13 years, of very different characters but all excellent in a crisis !!!!
I keep in "touch" with a couple of old school friends, birthday's, xmas, occassional e-mails but haven't seem them for yonks - certainly not in this century
Just wanted to thank Sammy for her kind (written) words yesterday, gave me quite a boost - cheers Sammy :kisses3: (not that I would, 'cos I'm not that way inclined :rotfl: )

back home.
Got the shakes at bit in Tesco, should have had some breakfast before I went really and now feel shattered after I had a couple of bananas after getting the shopping.
Went through my ex's finances and found £130 of easy cancellations etc which he is going to do. I asked how much he spends in the supermarket - around £80 per week - just for him! It's lots of Tesco Finest, alcohol, expensive ready meals etc. I've said he has a choice - either cut back to £40 a week (still quite a bit for 1!) or, if he doesn't, the only other option he has is to go to interest only on his mortgage. This will save him £180 a month but he isn't keen to do it. I laid it on the line and said this is his last roll of the dice which he acknowledged. I said he also needs to use his savings (around £500) to pay off his o/d as he goes over it and incurs charges. He wasn't happy but I explained each bank charge is in effect eating away at his savings when he then has to transfer some over!
anyway, he know what he needs to do, I've said in a month's time, I'll help him review it all, but if he doesn't put this all into place, he is going to be in a critical position, financially."Stay Wonky":D

You are so kind to do that for XOH, I just hope he takes your wise word and does as you have suggested.

I think if he's not sussed it out in a month then you need to leave him to it - he's a grown man and you can't be expected to keep chasing him up.
Weather's vile here - glad I don't need to go out in it."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

Like Jay Hunt from Spendaholics!
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

lol.................in some ways you are getting to know me pepe (won't reveal which parts of your statement are correct).............:rotfl:
thing is, I've tried to help him in the past since we split with the wise words of MSE and everything we help newbies with, but it's always gone in one ear and out the other - however, an annual 6k drop in income from next month is now a very real situation for him and he has to sort it."Stay Wonky":D
