It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Sounds like you need to take things a bit easy today SRM xx

Wooly head is starting to clear and I have pulled myself round enough to do the washing up and hang some washing out.

Ironing can wait until I have had an afternoon nap:p

Linda, did you get booked up for CP at new year then?
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Afternoon! The weather's not too bad here, the sky's a really nice blue. It looks cold though so I'm going to put off going to asda till tomorrow when I've got to go outside anyway.

    Lou, glad it's healed.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Not yet. I have to pay the balance of our May CP trip in Feb so I'll wait until July to look & book through NHS discounts!

    Sounds like a good plan:D

I am starting to look around for something to do this New Year, I quite fancy going to a big city to soak up the street party atmosphere, always looks fun on the telly.

Newcastle quayside has quite a lot going on I think, may have a look at some hotels there.

You have to purchase a wristband to get down to the Quayside on New Years, I'll find out from my sis how much it is - she lives in Newcastle (she's coming down today and I'm sure she'll know the best places to stay on a budget)
