  • and to cap it all, he said, "are you due your period as a matter of interest?"totally the worst thing you can say to a woman mid argument!

"Yes, so I'm sure the judge will understand" is often a good response :p

When I slept on the sofa last night (due to DH's man flu) I thought to myself..."this is comfy - sure it wasn't this comfy last time" and thought no more of it....

DH has just gone to sit on said sofa....and the whole support struts broken...he nearly went straight through :D (Now it's probably very wrong of me to laugh, seeing as it was more than likely me that broke it and cos he's got man flu and feels rought.....but my god it was funny)

This afternoons job will be to cut sofa to bits and find out if it can be repaired....I mean it's only 8 years old - plenty of life left yet surely?

Hmm, is it too early to open the wine?

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

  • Afternoon folks!

Been for CD weigh in and only lost 2 lbs. but tbh, it's my own fault. Not been having my 3 packs a day (1 or maybe 2 max) and even with the snacking, Im not getting enough calories...cousellor gave me a wee telling off...

I am going to stick to it 100% this week-I figured out I have lost a total of 18.5" and nearly a stone in under 3 weeks, I am never going to do this again, so I need to do it as best I can and be sensible-I only cheat myself when I play silly boogers...

So, so far I have had a CD peanut bar, some raw broccoli, gammon with egg(white!) ontop and leeks.

Im going to have 2 more CD packs today and thats IT! (oh, and lots of water)

Sorry so many people are feeling crap/tired/fed up/upset. Seems a bit of a downer day.

    Kids still are rough....
